There are the remains of a possible socket stone in the churchyard of All Saints church at Nettleham. It is c. 2.5m south east of the south porch and stands on slightly raised ground. It seems to have a slab (or part of a step?) beneath it. It is in a very mutilated condition and may not be in its original location. It was already in poor condition when recorded by Davies c.1915.

Only one corner (NE)  shows its original shape and an estimate of size gives maximum dimensions of 0.8m by 1.11m. and surviving height c.0.23m.

The socket is c. 0.30 x 0.28m, and is 0.19m deep – the bottom of the socket has two holes through the stone. Elements of the stone are missing – either broken off or eroded away.
