Cross base and part of shaft. The cross base has shields in quatrefoils at the centre of each side. There is no detail on the shields. The HER gives the date as 14th C – but I guess that’s just a default statement.
Base stone measures 0.80m N-S and 0.79m E-W. The stone is spalling quite badly and it is in poor shape especially near the corners. Shaft is square stopped to octagonal 0.30m N-S and 0.35m E-W. Height of shaft 0.95m. The stops are large extending over 0.26m. There is a small hollow in the top of the shaft.
HER description says: ‘in the churchyard is the base and part of the shaft of a medieval cross. The base is decorated with shields in quatrefoils’
