Raithby (2) is the discarded socket stone from the restoration of Raithby (1). It has been placed 1.3m to the south of the restored cross, begging the question as to which (if either) is the original cross location. The old base is c.0.76m square and a maximum of 0.22m high, but the upper part of the stone is broken away.  It was presumably thought in too poor condition to feature in the restored cross and a copy was made. The socket, now empty, measures 0.3m E-W by 0.29m N-S.
