At Holton-le-Clay there is a cross base with a piece of shaft, located about 6m south of the south door of St Peter’s church. It is a square base with corners moulded and chamfered to octagonal with a rectangular shaft also chamfered to octagonal. The cross base stands c.0.33m above the soil and is c.0.78m square. The shaft is 0.3m (E-W) by 0.35m (N-S). The surviving shaft is 1.43m high; it has a flat top with a small hole in it. The socket is lead lined.

Davies reports a cross at Holton-le-Moor, however, his observations closely match this cross at Holton-le-Clay and it seems likely that he has confused the names.
